According to reports, Apple temporarily suspends Siri's quality control process worldwide

Recently, Apple acknowledged the fact that Siri listens to our conversations without user knowledge and even when it is not activated, however, he said that only "a small portion" of the conversation was being tracked. Apple said its contractors were doing this just for quality control.

Obviously, this news generated many questions about privacy. Questions like should we really believe Apple? And what does it mean to hear "a small portion" of a conversation? Is Siri no longer safe to use?

Well, this surprised many people and, therefore, Apple has now closed the Siri quality control process worldwide. According to a Tech Crunch report, Apple says it is suspending the worldwide Siri rating process and will review the process, which it uses to determine if Siri is listening to queries correctly or if it is invoked in error.

In addition to this, the company also said that, as part of the future software update, users will have an option if they do not want their information used in the process of "qualification" or quality control.

Currently, Apple gives an option to disable Siri completely or does not at all. As for the Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa, users have the option to disable microphone recordings and continue using the voice assistant when necessary.

This problem that Siri was listening to the conversations came to light when a whistleblower told The Guardian that Apple gave them access to external contractors to listen to user conversations through Siri. To this, the company responded that they heard "a small portion" of it for qualification purposes.
