Latest Accouncement : ZTE Nubia Z20 With Dual Displays and Snapdraon 855 Plus

The Nubia Z20 is the latest flagship of ZTE and offers one of the boldest designs on any smartphone by adding a second full screen on the back. Just announced in China, here is everything that the Indians might need to know about the ZTE Nubia Z20, as it is likely to arrive in India later.

ZTE is no stranger to extravagant design choices with a touch of practicality. The Nubia Z20 is no different and adopts one of the smartest approaches to get rid of the notch that is eaten on the screen. The device has a 5.1-inch HD + AMOLED screen on the back and has all the functionality of a standard screen. The main idea here is to use this screen as a viewfinder for selfies using the primary camera set, since there is no dedicated front camera on the Z20. If you look closely at the images, there is also a second headset along the top edge of the back panel and you are likely to receive calls using the secondary display.

ZTE NUBIA Z20 SPECIFICATIONS :

*The design is one of the key highlights of the Nubia Z20, with the front adorned with a curved
   AMOLED panel of 6.42 inches with an FHD + resolution.

*The bezels are also incredibly thin, and no notch or hole obstructs the visual experience.

*Interestingly, there is no on-screen fingerprint scanner, and biometrics is handled with 
  fingerprint scanners mounted on both sides, which serve both left-handed and right-handed.
 
*Nubia's latest flagship works with the new Snapdragon 855 Plus chipset with 6 or 8GB of                   LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.0 storage.

*The battery has a capacity of 4,000 mAh and supports a fast charging of 27 W.

As for the cameras, the ZTE Nubia Z20 has a triple camera array on the back that consists of an optically stabilized main camera of 48MP f / 1.7, an ultra wide angle camera of 16MP and a 3x 8MP telephoto camera that You can create shots with 30x digital zoom. You can also record in 8K or slow motion of 1,920 fps, HDR10 recording and night mode. All of those will be available for selfies too.

The Nubia Z20 runs Nubia UI 7.0 on Android 9 Pie and comes with additional features that help increase the functionality of the phone using the second screen. Since each screen is operated individually, users can have two different applications or two instances of the same application open at the same time. This AMOLED panel can also be used as an always on screen. The most interesting thing is that, by taking out a sheet from the Red Magic notebook, you can map specific areas of the back panel to act as shoulder triggers for the games.

*The Nubia Z20 is now available for pre-order in China from today (August 8) and will ship on            August 16 onwards.


*Available in black, blue and red color options,

• The phone is priced at CNY 3,499 (INR 35,000) for the 6 GB RAM + 128GB variant, 
• CNY 3,699 (INR 37,000) for the 8GB RAM + 128GB variant. 
• The top model with 8GB RAM + 512GB Variant will cost INR 4,199 (INR 42,000).

There is still no information on Indian availability, but it will arrive in the United States, Canada and Europe sometime in September.
