IFA 2015: launching Samsung its first Blu-ray HD Ultra
At IFA, Korean giant Samsung announced its first Blu-ray HD Ultra player that supports playback of Blu-ray UHD too. From now on, the company has not provided any details regarding pricing or availability.
The player, who is able to provide four times the resolution and 64-fold higher expression of color compared to the Blu-ray standard, content is capable of scaling to provide for any disk UHD resolution. Additionally 4K streaming services are available. The Ultra HD Blu-ray features a sleek curved design that goes well with Samsung televisions SUHD curved.
In addition, the company said it is committed to expanding the ecosystem for Ultra HD or 4K content. UHD content to offer more worldwide, the company has also been associated with a number of companies like Amazon, Netflix, British Telecom and Canal Plus.
