Karbonn Mach Five-capable TV remote Rs 5999 launched in India

Karbonn brings a new addition to its line of Mach devices with the new Mach Five priced at Rs 5999. The highlight of the device is its ability to transform into a remote to control your TV, set-top box and so on.

It comes equipped with infra red emitter and Peel application, allowing the device to function as a remote control for TV, STB, CCAA of more than 400 brands. It will be available exclusively through Amazon.

In terms of specifications, the device sports a 5-inch screen with 720 x 1280 pixel resolution. Under the hood, I is powered by a quad-core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz with 2 GB of RAM. The device weighs 157 grams and measures 142.8 x 72.6 x 8.8 mm.

The smartphone runs the latest Android 5.0 Lollipop. On the front of the camera, it places a rear 8 megapixel snapper and a front camera of 5 megapixels. 16 GB of onboard storage is expandable up to 32GB through microSD card slot.

Connectivity options include 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and microUSB 2.0. 2200mAh battery complete the package.
