Oppo R9, R9 Plus smartphones to launch on April 5

Oppo launched two new smartphones the camera focused, R9 and R9 Plus in China. The main USP of these devices is the front facing camera of 16MP. The Oppo R9 is priced at CNY 2,799 (about Rs 29,000), while the Oppo R9 Plus has a price and CNY 3,299 (about Rs 34,000), respectively. The Oppo R9 is goes on sale from March 24 in China, while it is expected that the Oppo R9 Plus to be available from April 5th.

In addition, the front of 16MP cameras, the devices also comes with a wide angle lens of 78.1 degrees and an f / 2.0 aperture. As for features, the Oppo R9 has a 5.5-inch AMOLED screen with 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. It is powered by a MediaTek Helio P10 Octa-core processor paired with 4GB of RAM. Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with coloros 3.0 on top, the device comes equipped with an internal memory of 64 GB which can be expanded further up to 128 GB using a microSD card. Oppo R9 sports a rear 13MP camera with LED flash and a battery of 2850mAh completes the package.

On the other hand, the Oppo R9 Plus sports a 6-inch screen AMOLED Full-HD 1080 x 1920 pixel resolution. It is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 652 processor paired with 4GB of RAM. Android 5.1.1 Lollipop with coloros 3.0 on top, the device comes equipped with both 64GB and 128GB models, and can be extended up to 128 GB using a microSD card. The R9 Plus comes equipped with a Sony IMX298 CMOS sensor along with a 16MP rear camera and 4120mAh battery complete the package. Both devices fingerprint scanner fun is placed just below the screen as well
