It is 9.7 inch iPad Pro latest PC replacement Apple? hah

Last night during the event Apple, Phil Schiller, senior vice president of the world in the technology giant announced that 9.7 inches is the "ultimate PC replacement". Well, I would say, "Rubbish!" Citing the "600 million" PC users are still trapped in old PCs five years, Schiller said, "That's very sad."

I have a five year old PC and it's working perfectly fine! So thank you very much. 2011 was the year Intel launched its Sandy Bridge platform stellar and there would be much of an exaggeration to say that there has been nothing like it since. There is no way I would change my Intel i5 for an iPad.
But what about Apple? Why the sudden urge to a Pro platform and iPad this talk, of all things, as a replacement PC?

tablet sales have declined in recent years and I believe that the decline can be attributed to the fact that tablets are no longer the media consumption device of choice. When we are doing everything we want on the phone, why do we need a tablet?

At its peak, the Tablet PC offers a browsing experience that is free from the shackles of the mobile web. Five years ago, developers were still learning how to deal with the mobile browsing experience and concepts such as design response was still relatively new. Many websites today are struggling in that department, but they are a minority of escape. At that time, cheap laptops were underpowered and bulky, too slow and too phones small screens.

Any type of media was just better on a tablet, except perhaps music, and remind myself to get my first iPad (third generation one) only for media consumption. At that time, I was very happy with the device. The, gorgeous screen 9.7 inch retina (not yet matched by most screens), the pleasure of surfing the web "desktop" on the fly and the ability to watch videos without forcing was exactly what I wanted.

The web today is very mobile friendly and there is literally an app for everything. A screen size of 5 inches and above is more than enough for video and mobile are not deficient in either energy department. Photo editing or 4K video is as easy as a phone on a tablet.

It was not long before my iPad began to collect dust and I sold it shortly thereafter. A brief stint with a shield and surface Nvidia Pro 4 also did little to convince me of the need for a tablet. In any case, the Pro surface not only showed how good a Windows laptop could be, but also how bad a tablet of Windows 10 experience can be.

This is just me, of course, but as a person who detests laptops for greater fiddlesome and touchpad, I love a tablet type device that could replace it. Unfortunately, there is nothing on the market to fill that void for the time being. The iPad Pro is powerful for what it is, but you can not beat something like, for example, the Surface Pro in terms of absolute power or Windows for flexibility. Android? I just wish I would until the mind with respect to tablets (but maybe Android N will fix that).

The 9.7-inch iPad Pro is not cheap, has "good" speakers (Rs 49,900), Rs 10,000 requires a keyboard, has a "task-switcher" and can display two windows side by side. Oh, and Microsoft Office is run.
Rs 60,000 will get you a MacBook Pro with a 13-inch screen, i5 CPU, 500 GB hard drive and all the power of OS X and can open as many windows as you want. That same Rs 60,000 will have any number of devices similarly specced Windows. Both run Microsoft Office and any number of other productivity applications, feature-rich and most importantly ,.
