Helios Apollo Vernee with X20 and 6GB of RAM for retail for only $ 399
Vernee, a technology company of China has announced that it will launch a smartphone carrying Mediatek Helios X20 and 6 GB of RAM for only $ 399 (about Rs 27,000).
The device also will have 128 GB of internal memory and a 21MP camera sensor based on the Sony IMX 230. If this were not enough, also Vernee launch a 5.5-inch screen in 2K resolution in the mix. Vernee points out that only 5 Live Xplay launched with 6GB of RAM and that the next Samsung Note 6 can also lead to 6 GB of RAM.
According to reports, Vernee Vernee Thor launch a phone that has a MT6753 chipset with 3GB of RAM and 16 GB of internal memory. Also you get a rear camera of 13 MP, 2800mAh battery and support quick charge. This device is set to retail $ 129.99 (about Rs 8,700).
While the effectiveness of 6GB of RAM is certainly in doubt, there is a reason why there are not many phones with that amount of RAM, specifications and prices of the two devices is certainly attractive.
The Helios is a very interesting X20 chipset which has a total of 10 cores in a "tri-cluster." MediaTek says that each group is designed to assume a different workload, balancing power consumption and performance requirements on the fly. The advantage of this, they say, is better power handling, smoother performance and battery life.
More specifically, the chipset implements the following groups:
2x Cortex-A72 @ 2.5 GHz
4x Cortex-A53 @ 2.0 GHz
4x Cortex-A53 @ 1.4 GHz
ARM Mali GPU
