Nissan's new concept car is the dream of a social networking addict

Nissan's new concept car is designed with a certain type of customer in mind: a power selfie, obsessive media that knows no life without technology in it.

Theatre called Dayz (let that sink in), the concept car on display at the Tokyo Motor Show is covered with screens. Nissan said in a press release that it is the first car designed specifically to "the generation known as 'digital natives'," but quickly a new mandate for this group introduced.

"Designing a car to appeal to the generation we call" native share 'requires us to intentionally not use the knowledge and proven approaches and true we had accumulated, "said the native Actions Executive Design Director Satoshi Tai in the statement. Not concerned by the acceleration, power or "supreme quality".

Instead, according to Nissan, they want a car that allows them to connect and share experiences with friends. While Nissan did not elaborate on how drivers and passengers connect with people, not in the vehicle, it is assumed that there are ample ways to upload photos, send statements and chat with the vehicle itself.

Car connection

Not only Nissan wants Dayz Theatre for riders to share from the car, the company wants them to share what they are doing with the car, too.

Its design is described as a "blank canvas". The stark white interior can be transformed using different images shown on the screen, allowing users to "design their own experiences, connect with friends, show an attitude and share them freely."

Concept images show everything from a wood and leather design to the grass to the games that appear on the dashboard, seats, headrests, door trim, steering wheel and even outside the car.

No conventional knobs or buttons as it would disrupt the flow of screens, or "limit presentation structure and expression" as Nissan sets. Instead, users can control the air conditioning and audio systems with voice commands and motion sensors. Meter dash car navigation displayed on the dashboard when the car is moving, but once parked away.

The exterior of the car looks like a Kia Soul, but according to Nissan resembles smartphones share natives have stuck to your hands (our words, not of Nissan).

While Dayz Theatre is only a concept at this point, Nissan hopes that you will get an immediate response (if and) when the car hits the streets.

"How will you share indigenous express this car? Just wait and see," said Tai designer. "They will share their first experiences on social networks." Sure it will.
