Sony launches full-frame mirrorless Alpha 7R II in India and its compact RX100 IV,travel-zoom RX10 II




Sony launched three new cameras for the Indian market at an event in Mumbai today. All three cameras, namely, advanced RX100 IV compact, travel-zoom camera RX10 II and full-frame interchangeable lens mirrorless Alpha 7R II will be priced at Rs 69,990, Rs 94,990 and Rs 2,39,990, respectively, and they have already started selling in retail outlets.

Sony Alpha 7R II

This is the camera mirrorless interchangeable lens sporting a huge back 42.4MP full frame illuminated Exmor R CMOS sensor combines with BIONZ image processor X. The Alpha 7R II will replace the Alfa 7R and supports a native ISO range of 100-26500 which can be expanded to ISO 50-102 400 shooting still images. As is the case with most high-end cameras, the Alpha 7R II drops the optical low pass filter for sharpess added.

Sony RX100 IV




The Sony RX100 series has been a hit with those looking to buy a compact camera with high image quality. The Sony RX100 IV will be an update to the RX100 III and is priced at Rs 69,990. The RX100 IV is very similar to the RX100 III at first glance. But inside, there are a lot of improvements. For starters, the camera sensor is a stacked ExmorRS 1.0 inch CMOS sensor that has a DRAM chip to cache data light coming from the catchment area of ​​pixels before they go to the BIONZ image processor X .
